Best selfmade pasta all around Laos. Definitely worth a visit. And I can recommend the super delicious dessert!

It's been a little if two years since the last time I ate at State of the Pasta and I still think about their Lao sausage pasta to this day. If you're in Vientiane and feel like having some fusion Italian food with a Lao touch then State of the Pasta is a MUST. I had to come back and edit my old post to express how much I loved the place and it's food.

Remembering the taste of the bread makes my mouth water. This is an excellent restaurant that is fairly new (menu is still just simply printed out sheets). All orders currently come with a delicious free appetizer. Owners are two men from Switzerland who clearly know Italian food. Highly recommend.

Completely worth the higher price. We had such good service; the waitress was so attentive and friendly. The pasta felt authentic and was really tasty.
