Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Villa Rica

The food isn’t the issue for this Popeyes. The issue is sitting in line for 30 minutes without getting to the order screen. Also, the door to go inside the restaurant was locked. It’s not even 6 pm yet. ? I ordered on the app, so now I have to wait in line. ? They need to figure out a better system since this is a fast food restaurant. If they are short staffed, I would prefer they just close the restaurant instead of inconveniencing people by having them wait for an extremely long time just to get some chicken. Maybe it’s time to change management because the wait is always long. If you think you’re going to quickly stop here to get a bite to eat, don’t do it! Do yourself a favor and go to Bo Jangles, Zaxby's, or Chick-fil-A.Update: I never got my food after waiting in line for 40 minutes. They didn’t have wings. ? I don’t know who owns this Popeyes, but it’s really bad there and my husband and I would rather drive to Popeyes in Douglasville than go to this one. 100% DONE

Arrived at 6:19 p.m., was three cars behind the order kiosk in the drive thru. Made it to the kiosk at 6:40 p.m. placed my order, got to the drive thru window at 6:47 p.m. received my food and pulled away from the window at 6:52 p.m. While sitting in line to order, my wife looked up the reviews for this store and needless to say we should have ran. Since we were already in line we figured what the hay and waited it out. It was almost comical to say the least, numerous cars parked and tried to go inside the restaurant but the doors were locked. If you read this before stopping, keep going.

Tried to get food for dinner and cars lined up around the establishment. I then tried to go in and make an order, but they had them locked, and a lot of customers were just leaving. I have had previous bad service here, like not getting an order right and overcooked chicken and shorted on some of my orders. I have given them enough of my money and like the old saying goes 3 strikes and your out. I really give this establishment 2 BIG THUMBS DOWN!!!!!!

Today we visited Popeyes to try the new fish sandwich. We ordered two and both of them were horrible. One had a piece of fish on it no larger than a chicken nugget. The other had more tartar sauce on the top of the bun than inside. We waiting in the drive through for almost an half hour. I asked my husband to check the sandwiches while we drove away and had to turn around and go back for a refund. We normally just order our son chicken sandwiches from this location. But today we wanted to try the fish for ourselves. I also ordered my son's regular order along with the fish sandwiches. I returned to the store for a refund on the fish sandwiches and they were very quick to refund. I thought ok. At least I received my almost 13 dollars back for two terrible fish sandwiches only to get home and realized my son's chicken sandwich was burnt to a crisp!

You will 100% sit in the drive through for 40+ minutes for terrible food. You are better off eating somewhere else.
