Spacious pub with beautiful outdoor areas and a children's playground. good eating, but the menu was somewhat limited due to the training problems of the staff. this was specified in the menu.

Very good food, a lot of it. The staff are very friendly we book Sunday dinner already and it only Thursday. It a pity it a 5 hour journey to eat here.

Friendly staff who are unfortunately up against it with not enough people available to make for a smooth work environment. In every department there is a long delay in serving, but as it's only the 2nd week of the season I'm guessing things will improve once the staff are comfortable with the hours and shifts.

After reading some mixed reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a chance, and we're glad we did. The carvery was absolutely wonderful, and the service was commendable. The portion sizes were very generous, far exceeding what you typically find at a standard Toby Carvery pub. The atmosphere was inviting as well. It’s clear that most of the service team is relatively new, which is understandable as many places are still rebuilding after the pandemic. I really applaud this pub/restaurant for their efforts and would definitely recommend it. With friendly staff and hearty food, they are certainly heading in the right direction. Great job!
