The atmosphere is alright, kinda modern as compared to traditional Spanish style. The food taste would only be so-so for my taste, but of course the portion is extremely little, spent around 1.7k for 4 pax, but neither is half full, fine dining place like this would probably be a place just to try out the taste. Anyway, do not order the cheese cake... The service are good but a little to rush , like keep asking if customer would like to order in 3 minutes after seating. And cleaning the plate immediately without asking or so. But its good if you like to be served.
Personally I think the restaurant is overrated, though the paella is worth trying. Their Basque cheesecake is a BIG NO, the taste and texture are more like a common cheesecake. Overall experience was good, other than constant peeks from the waiters which made me slightly uncomfortable
A nice Spanish restaurant located in a quiet and dark ally in Taipei’s east district. Waitresses are amiable and willing to share their thoughts on the mix and match of the dishes. However, think they can be more confident on their recommendations, which would have made it more professional. I prefer Jamon than salami due to the colocation of the fat and meat. Pork ribs and paella are my favorites. Beef is okay because of the very chewy texture. Sangria is a bit light. Card is acceptable. Recommended for a more formal dinning.
Lunch here with colleagues of total 18 people. We order the set menu with budget of 1500 TWD per person. The food is really really good! Admitted coming with high expectation but this place even exceeding my expectations. Seafood re well cook, tapas are great, deserts are creative and make all of us feel amazed! Service is also good with two people dedicated for us. The interaction during the reservation was also very delightful. Totally recommended. (Thanks for Ginger providing the great photo! . (Also thanks for Queenie for recommendation!
