As it is a long-established restaurant established in the Meiji era, the eel is superbly prepared. It is fatty, tender, and perfectly grilled over charcoal. The rice soaked in the sauce is also excellent, and the liver tastes elegant. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the meal. One of the long-standing eel restaurants in front of Shirai Station is "Miyako". However, the recommended dish here is undoubtedly the "Katsu-don". This dish is served with a rare "eel sauce" which is perhaps one of the few in the country. Your preference for it may vary, but it is definitely a menu item that will not leave you short of conversation topics. Give the Katsu-don a try at least once.
This is a traditional eel rice bowl. It was delicious. I see some people complaining about it being frozen, but the liver sauce was chewy and delicious. I wonder if it's sometimes frozen? I love eel and have tried many different places, but is this the only place in Sennan? The grilling skills here are top-notch, and personally, this is my favorite place. Also, the Japanese pepper at the restaurant was very fresh and had a numbing aroma. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
