Contribuisci feedbackI was introduced to this restaurant by a colleague and it's a 7-8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. Before going, I received advice to go with the 3000 yen course, so I made a reservation for that course and a seat. When we arrived at 18:30, the tatami room was full, so my friend and I sat at the counter and cheers with a glass of beer. Shortly after, a sashimi platter arrived with sazae, katsuo, isaki, tako, shimesaba, and a large oyster in the middle, all extremely fresh and delicious. Next, we enjoyed 12 varieties of freshly fried skewers including sazae, shiitake filled with shrimp, and salmon, with multiple sauces like tonkatsu, lemon, matcha salt, and grainy mustard. For the finale, we savored nigiri sushi with tuna, shrimp, eel, crab miso, kazunoko, horse mackerel, white fish, and tamago, served with red miso soup and dessert. It was a truly satisfying meal overall.
I visited for the first time in 2021, and have become a regular patron since. The restaurant offers fresh seafood at reasonable prices, just as its reputation suggests. I always sit at the counter, and I was thrilled to chat with the chef about seafood, as I enjoy fishing. The menu offers course options ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 yen. I have tried different courses ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 yen on each visit, but if you're just looking for a light meal, the 3,000 yen course is a good choice. The 4,000 yen course includes a chawanmushi and higher grade seafood, while the 5,000 yen course offers a variety of sushi including flounder engawa and seared shrimp, with a volume that is hard to finish. Even the 3,000 yen course includes a variety of appetizers, tempura skewers, sushi, and a soup. When staying in Nishigo, it is essential to make a reservation for dinner every night. As a sake lover, I drank quite a bit but was satisfied with the 3,000 yen course. However, I must mention that the alcohol cost added to the bill was not included in the course price.
The raw oysters were delicious and the touch screen ordering was smooth.
日曜日に訪問。予約して訪問した方が良いとのことです。当日は4000円のコース料理をオーダー。コース料理は値段により寿司ネタが変わるとのこと。コース内容は串カツ、刺身、握り、デザートになります。コースには隠岐名物の1口では食べられないほどの巨大牡蠣が含まれます。寿司の握りは美しい。 西郷港周辺では一番お薦めとのことです。
