Contribuisci feedbackThe Fu-Chu Yaki is amazing. Even my wife, who doesn't like meat, was completely satisfied and finished every bite. The appearance may be similar to Kansai-style okonomiyaki, but the texture and flavor are completely different. The crispy texture of the soba is delightful, even the bottom dough part is delicious. It's hard to explain the bottom dough part, but only those who have eaten it would understand. The sauce is on the richer side. In my opinion, it's a mix of Kansai and Hiroshima styles. The texture is truly unique. I will definitely be coming back for more, and I might even order some for takeout next time. In the past, when people mentioned okonomiyaki, they would think of Osaka or Hiroshima. But now, with the introduction of Fu-Chu's version, it seems like we have entered the era of the three giants. Maybe Fu-Chu will be as famous as Hiroshima. Perhaps Osaka will come up with a new style, like Kishiwada?
I tried the special dish. The back side was crispy and incredibly delicious. I drizzled mayonnaise on half of it, and it paired well with the mayonnaise.
I recently visited Okonomiyaki Sachi in Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture. This restaurant is popular and you usually have to make a reservation because, depending on the day and time, you may have to wait 1-3 hours, especially on weekends. If you're not familiar with this place, you might wonder why it seems so empty inside. The reason is that most customers order takeout. This time, I called to make a reservation at 10 AM and was told that my okonomiyaki would be ready by 12:30 PM. As usual, I ordered the "sobaniku tamaw" okonomiyaki, which is a specialty of Fuchu-yaki with crispy soba noodles. The combination of pork fat, vegetables, and sauce creates a delicious flavor that makes me happy. Enjoying it with a beer is pure bliss. Each Fuchu-yaki is unique, so I recommend trying different ones to find your favorite.

備後府中焼きを食べに行きました。 朝の10時頃来店を告げると1:30からならOKと言うことでそばダブルを注文しました。 お店に行って納得。 鉄板の上で実に丁寧に焼かれています。 焼く枚数に制限があるため、いきなり来た来店客には丁寧に「予約の注文もありますので今からだと50分ほどかかります。」と対応されていました。 ご近所の方らしきお客さんにも50分後の時間を伝えてその時間に取りに来て欲しいと伝えられていました。 府中町にある道の駅で府中焼きMAPを発見し、近所のお好み焼きを見て回りましたがどこも満員。 焼き方もお店独自の持ち味があるようでした。 (外から見学した限り。) 私は迷わず時間通りに「さち」に来店。 席についてすぐにお好み焼きが出てきました。 さすが予約にきっちりされていました。 お味の方は「おいしい」の一言に尽きます。 電話で予約の際にメニュが判らず定番のそば入り(w)にしましたが、実においしい。 ここ最近のお好み焼きでは一番です。 ご夫婦で焼かれているお好み焼きは愛情満点で格別でした。 ごちそうさまでした。 また機会があれば訪れたいと思いました。
