The garlic packs a punch and makes you feel energetic. However, the price has been increasing year by year and has finally reached 1100 yen.
Although there are few places where you can try the traditional Okinawan dish "Chiiirichaa," Kummatsu Shokudo is a hidden gem where you can enjoy this delicious dish that has been enjoyed for generations. The dish is flavorful with a strong presence of garlic, so it's best to mix it thoroughly before eating. Additionally, there are plenty of condiments available, and if you don't see them on your table, the hostess will bring them to you. With the ability to customize the flavors, you can enjoy the dish endlessly. Highly recommended are the "maru komezu" and "Maribu Sharp's green" condiments.
The stir-fried pork and offal dish called "Chi-iricha" was delicious and a specialty. It had a generous amount of raw garlic on top, making it very filling! The original Okinawan vinegar (with a strong acidic taste) paired well with it. There were also plenty of Tabasco and spiciness, making it even better! Let's fill our bellies and enjoy! The "Soki soba" also had a gentle flavor. The restaurant had mostly locals, but even families with children were warmly greeted by the landlady and had a great time.
