The meat was incredibly tender and easy to eat. The soup was light, and the noodles were medium thickness with a nice texture.
I enjoyed the delicious Okinawan pork soba. The meat was tender and had a great flavor, making the noodles very satisfying.
I have been staying in Okinawa for a long time, but this was my first time visiting as it was a bit far from my usual haunts. The original "Soki Soba" for ¥750 including tax and the "Juicy Wan" for ¥140 including tax were sold out, so I tried the "Horohoro Soki Meshi" for ¥210 including tax. The noodles were chewy with a medium thickness, and the broth was light and flavorful, creating a perfect balance. The Soki pork was a must-try! The sweet soy sauce soaked through to the bone, and the meat was tender and fell apart easily, with just the right amount of crunch in the cartilage. The Horohoro Soki Meshi was absolutely delicious, with the sweet soy sauce seeping into the white rice. Although I ate the Soki with soba this time, I definitely want to try the Juicy Wan next time. I will definitely visit this restaurant again. By the way, it's in the top 10 rankings for Okinawa Soba on What-a-Twitter. Perfect for Sabis Asa.
