There was a faint smell of cigarettes inside the restaurant, but I have a sense of smell like a pregnant woman, so I could smell it more than usual. We ordered set meals. The fried rice, eggplant miso, and teriyaki chicken were all delicious, but the eggplant miso was a bit strong in flavor. The teriyaki chicken and fried rice were delicious! Overall, I think the food is pretty good. The only downside might be the slow service. The prices are around 600-680 yen, and the meal includes rice, soup, two side dishes, three slices of sashimi, salad, and a main dish. It was delicious, so we will go back again. We went back again!
I had the Eggplant Miso Set Meal. For 650 yen, you get a generous portion of side dishes and rice, as well as two small side dishes, tuna sashimi, and miso soup - a great deal! At night, it can be hard to see the sign so you might pass by, but it's near Lawson where there are blue lights illuminating the area. The entrance is also a bit hard to find, but once you pass through two doors, you'll enter the restaurant so don't be afraid to take the plunge! The staff is polite and the interior was cleaner than the last time I visited. I definitely recommend this set meal restaurant!
This hidden gem of a restaurant is known to those in the know. The food is homey (affordable and delicious!), the atmosphere is relaxed and spacious, making it perfect for a chill night out with a small group.
