Méng Tè Lì ěr Cān Tīng - 南投

Brilliant food, even with delicious vegetarian options. A rare find in Puli, and possibly even on the whole island! The owner and his wife are so warm and friendly, and the service was excellent, too. For example, we didn't make a reservation, and when we arrived we were told there would be a 40 minute wait on the food. We weren't in a rush or very hungry, so we didn't mind waiting. But we were given a (delicious) carrot consommé as an appetizer for free! And at the end of it all, our poutine, pizza and dessert arrived at a pace we thoroughly enjoyed. We'll definitely be back-completely worth the 1 hour drive

Make a reservation (English/French spoken) because food is created a la minute and the chef wants to be prepared to serve you his very best. Small place, maybe 10 tables, and not fancy, but cute, clean, and the food is fantastic! Very authentic Canadian comfort food, expertly prepared. Even if they are out of what you had in mind, trust the waitstaff's recommendations you can't go wrong. A delicious taste of home, far, far away.

Enjoyed a great pizza with rich cheese keeping all the sauce . THE MAPLE PIE is amazing!! I got a take out but it's so good that I literally cheered. Too bad that the owner has to go through dinning rules and stuff though
