Contribuisci feedbackWe drove for nearly an hour from Uwajima and arrived at a restaurant directly connected to the fishing port of Ainan Town, with the border of Kochi Prefecture just a short distance away. We arrived around 11:30 on a Sunday and while there was no line, the small restaurant was fully packed. After waiting for over 30 minutes, we finally managed to get a table when a few groups left. Instead of writing our name on a piece of paper, we took a number card and waited for our turn. We ordered the set of tai-meshi and bonito sashimi for 1,300 yen. The thick-cut tai-meshi, dressed generously with sesame sauce, and the equally thick-cut bonito sashimi were both delicious and fresh, given the proximity to the fishing port. The restaurant had a sign indicating that their card machine was broken, so they only accepted cash payments.
A cafeteria located right next to Fukaura fishing port. This time, they didn't have the fresh skipjack tuna that I was hoping for, so I ended up enjoying a set meal of red snapper sashimi and oyster fry. Both the sashimi and fry were delicious, and I left feeling satisfied. I visited on a Saturday around 11 am, thinking I might have to wait, but I was seated right away. However, more customers started coming in afterwards, and some had to wait for a table to open up. Also, the oyster fry sold out by noon. I recommend going early with some extra time to spare. I revisited on 3/6/2022 with a friend who came from afar to visit. This time, we each had a set meal of Iyo Himetakami sashimi and seared fish. The "toro" name of the sashimi dish lived up to its full body, surprising us with the flavor of the fatty bonito.
We arrived at English30 around 3 pm. We were a bit confused by the numbering system at first. We had come specifically for the bonito, but unfortunately it was already sold out. Instead, we decided to try the bonito tataki and the isaki sashimi set meal. The bonito tataki had a strong flavor that went well with the rice. The isaki sashimi was sweet and delicious. The bonito tataki was slightly on the sweeter side, more like it was closer to being raw. The sauce overall was on the sweeter side as well.
ボードに今日の水揚げ…と題して時間と水揚の魚が書かれています。 それを参考に…新鮮で美味しいお魚がいただけます。 深浦港内にあるのでカツオがおすすめです。塩で 今の時期ブリも美味しいです。 スマは高級マグロを食べているかのような美味しさ。 鯛めしも南予の鯛めしで…釜で炊き込まれたものではなくご飯に新鮮な鯛のお刺身を乗っけて中心に生卵の黄身を輝かせ、胡麻ダレをかけて または生卵に鯛めしのしょう油誰を入れかき混ぜてご飯と鯛刺しの上からぶっかけて どちらも絶品。 新鮮なお魚をいただく贅沢な鯛めしです。
愛南町の市場食堂。 養殖のスマ、全身トロの姫貴海を(ひめたかみ)運良くいただきましたが、これはマジで美味い 見ただけで美味しそうなのがわかりますよね。 脂がのってトロトロでクセもなく食べやすい。 大トロを食べているような感じでした。 今まで食べたお魚の中で一番かも。 市場ではあまり出回っていないのでここで食べるしかないのかな? 松山市内から2時間以上とアクセスはよくありませんが、ここまで来て食べる価値は十分にあると思います。
