Despite the busyness, I decided to order the parent-child rice bowl and was pleasantly surprised by the large shiitake mushrooms, carrots, and generous chunks of chicken mixed with egg. The seasoning was light and I didn't get tired of it until the end. Of course, it came with miso soup and also included pickled vegetables and simmered eggplant in small dishes. All of this for only 600 yen made it a lunch that surprised me twice.
The handmade feel of this restaurant is great. The portions are just right and the flavors are delicious without being too strong. I have been visiting this restaurant every time I come to Miyazaki since last year, and I have been here more than 10 times. I always have the daily lunch special, but sometimes they have accommodated special requests for items not on the menu. The restaurant is run by a beautiful landlady and a young lady, giving it a cozy, homely atmosphere.
