The restroom is old-fashioned, with shared facilities for both men and women, and the men's urinal right next to the sink, which may be off-putting for younger customers nowadays.
After finishing work in the morning, I went to the soba restaurant Ichiraku for lunch and ordered the mountain vegetable soba and pork cutlet bowl set. The noodles themselves were nothing special, but the well-balanced broth was quite good. The pork cutlet bowl had plenty of sauce and the onions were hidden nicely beneath the cutlet. As I continued eating, it started to feel a bit too rich. They also offered a kamameshi dish which supposedly takes about 20 minutes to prepare, but I had to give up on it due to time constraints. The variety of the menu makes this restaurant a valuable presence in the area. Every town and village should have a place like this, and I'm sure it will thrive.
The donburi dishes are delicious. The portion of soba noodles is generous. Recently, I often order the katsudon set, which includes katsudon and kakesoba. The soba in the set can be served in a sieve or similar to other soba dishes. The katsudon is not overly sweet and has a perfect balance, while the kakesoba has a rich and flavorful broth without an overpowering taste, making it very delicious.
仕事て脇町を訪れ 蕎麦が美味しいと聞き 昼御飯に立ち寄りました。 釜飯は炊き上がりまで20分超 かかりましたが美味しかったです。
