It was seasoned only with soy sauce, but the flavor was rich and intense - just the way I like it. If you're not a fan of bold flavors, you might want to skip this one. It goes great with rice. Next time, I might try ordering it with salt or miso!
I had the "Low-Sodium Chinese Ramen", "Miso Ramen", and "Gyoza 'Goku'" at the counter seat for lunch on July 5th, 2020. The "Low-Sodium Chinese Ramen" has a delicious taste and aroma of seafood broth. I recommend it.
I went with my child, and the quick service was a lifesaver. My child can't wait and tends to touch everything around, so it was a relief. It had been a while since I last visited Kokuraen, and I was surprised to see how crowded it was. Although a table quickly became available, I was shocked to see a middle-aged woman sitting alone at a table for six, playing with her phone while eating ramen. The staff may not have been able to say anything since there were empty seats, but when it's busy, they should ask people to sit at the counter. I hope people will mind their manners.
