Yì Rén Táng カステラ Shí Jīn Diàn

This is personally my favorite castella shop. Not only is their regular castella delicious, but I especially recommend their Go-San-Yaki castella. These are carefully baked by skilled artisans and are moist and delicious. They can easily hold their own against long-established castella shops. They also offer new flavors like chocolate and strawberry castella. Perfect for gifts or for enjoying at home. With parking available, it's easy to visit this place.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is quiet and the responses from the staff to questions about the products are excellent. I thought it was a wonderful restaurant. I think the taste of the castella is just as good as other famous shops, and they also sell cut ends of castella, which can be sent as gifts. The recipient was very pleased when I sent it to an acquaintance. I would like to continue using this restaurant in the future.

I always thought that the delicious Castella in Nagasaki was either a B or an F grade, being a Nagasaki native. However, when I tried the Castella and Dorayaki at Our Foreigners Pavilion, I found them to be very moist and delicious. The chestnut Dorayaki had plenty of chestnuts and a subtly sweet taste, making it also very delicious.
