Gion Tanto Qí Yuán たんと - 日本

Excellent location. my number 1 place in kyoto for vegans/vegetarians, but judge by the authentic, domestic view of the place, the number of locals on Monday to midday, and the quality of vegan cuisine, certainly the non-vegans are just as good.

Eating is absolutely tasty the atmospheres wonderful every very polite it is a definite must to go restaurant. I'm addicted to okonomiyaki, it's delicious here. I like the opposite very that it is in much to do to go big counter to foot shopping sightseeing and joy have a good meal.

Great food at a reasonable price, also considering you get a view of the gion canal while eating. They have English and Korean menus too. Seems like the place is mostly visited by foreigners. Didn't see a lot of locals eating when we went. Recommend the special okonomiyaki and seafood okonomiyaki!

I have had Okonomiyaki in a couple of places but this was by far the best! The place had a magical atmosphere especially as you sit on the floor to eat and you can see them cooking the food whilst you wait a short amount of time. The staff were lovely. Would definitely go there again if I had time!

Really good okonomiyaki! We ordered the special that came with just about everything. There's usually a queue but service is fast so you shouldn't be waiting too long unless your group is large. It's a real tight fit. You'll find yourself jostling for elbow room to eat, but it's a lovely ambience nonetheless. I would recommend this.
