We tried 2 plates steamed chicken momos, 1 plate fish momo, single chocolate momo. All momos were hot & yummy and we enjoyed with spicy green & red chutney. Total bill was approximately 400 bucks which is easy on the pocket too.
This restaurant is not able to replicate the original taste of momos, but instead has opted for creating unnecessary variants with irrelevant add-ons. Those from Darjeeling or Nepal would find this attempt laughable. It seems like they are focusing more on gimmicks rather than authenticity. Perhaps one day they will even introduce an egg momo, and those who are unfamiliar with authentic momos from West Bengal may be easily fooled by this commercial tactic. The name "Wao Momo" seems fitting for a place that offers so many different versions of a traditional dish.
On reaching the old digha beach after more than 17 years , I was surprised. More I was with seeing the WM restaurant alongside CCD (if Im not wrong). Though the menu variety is the same, its the ambience which made the difference. Sitting out ion the off-beach in the sweet breeze and enjoying the sanacks, really awesome and unforgettable experience.
This is the one of the favourite place for the foodlovers... the momos are awesome... one can spend time at Baarista..
Momos variety is been marketed and popularised by a well managed food chain. Better be in steamed momos for health concious people. But pan fried for taste. Ask for less chilly or Pan fries can burn your tongue. Have good time by ordering North East foods and avoid barger
