Came here because anthony bourdain visited here on one of his shows. there is a minimum amount you need to order here (I think it was like $40hkd). me.
I planned my first trip to hk and that was on the top of my list, after hearing so many friends over their pantyhosen militant ✔ rave. I came over.
I could eat here every morning for the rest of my life, just aha. Actually all my friends come to visit Taiwan and finally leave HK and the glorious French toast behind just never stop talking about it. Soya
Milk Tea is the real deal honest unbiased opinion of Canadian Asian Guy This is basically an older Hong Kong style cafe and for comparison it would be like an American diner. So you have to come with reasonable expectations. It is by no means fine food or the most beautiful places, but you get the experience of a legitimate Hong Kong Café style meal. The milk tea is reason enough to come here. The men in the sleeveless shirt take his job seriously and put out a delicious cup of tea. You can get it hot or cold and I usually enjoy the cold as it is a nice refreshment on a warm day. When I first came here, I chose the original hot milk tea. Add sugar to your own personal taste. I am not affected by caffeine, so I cannot comment on the strength of tea, but the “Tea taste” is strong. Milk teas I had in other shops sometimes cost water down. This is not the case. I found the servers friendly and they chat with us in Cantonese. Some of them have their quirks and can come as rude, but Cantonese can sometimes sound like an angry language. But this complements the real HK-Café experience and no other than some of the interesting characters living in every diner.
