Mama Chico - A Coruña

It is a nice place especially for thoes who like truffles ; because ther is a lot of dishes with this ingridient. Food is very nice , i wish only if there were some more options for food to share.

We initially intended stopping somewhere just for a coffee and soft drink at the end of our day's visit to A Coruna and before we set off on the hour and a half journey back to where we were staying. All the outside terraces in the area were full (and here as well) but this looked like an interesting, more homely, interior so we ventured in. I understand it's part of a small group of restaurants and they all appear to have this more individual feel to them as part of their design philosophy well it works. It was quite busy but we spotted a high table in the window next to the bar/fridge. As luck would have it because we spotted the most tempting of desserts in the fridge so instead of ordering coffees and cokes we had a little bit of a dessert and G&T indulgence. Great desserts, good drinks, good coffees and attentive, friendly service. Not the cheapest but well worth it!

I came here once about a year ago and on returning to Coruna hunted it down as i remembered the food and pretty venue. Did not disappoint second time around or even 3rd as I went back yet again. The food all taste fresh and the pasta dishes are really good. Great place for vegetarians and meat eaters alike, wine is lovely too and all reasonably priced.
