Cactus Cafe, Glen Cove - <a href

My wife and her mother are from Peru. We have been in search of some good pollo a la brasa. Today we tried the Cactus Cafe. We ordered the whole chicken with 4 sides for $22 to go The choices for sides are Rice, black beans, french fries, jalapeño corn bread, refried beans and vegetables. They completely disregard that I am allergic to shrimp. I clearly ordered a chorizo burrito and they gave me a shrimp burrito. Lost a long time customer because of this. I called and they didn’t have a care in the world. I was told to come back to the store to get another burrito. I’m on my way to the hospital. Why would I come back to the restaurant??

All the locals will agree. Some of the best Tex Mex/take out in the area. Prob eat from here at least once a week. Great options for a family meal, amazing burritos, and personally love the Santa Fe Salad (with any of the protein options). Definitely keep an eye out for their full moon specials or their deals for late night burritos.

Always busy.. Staff could be more friendly. Needs more consistency. However, The best quesillidias ever!!

I have loved the Glen cove location till today. I went to pick up my food, I paid and the two employees walked out of sight. I realized there were no straws so I called out because there was no one out front. No one responded, I then proceeded to look in the cabinet below the utensil cabinet.
