This authentic and beautifull place near the Dom and the Elisenbrunnen has had the exact same interior since the first time I visited, over thirty years ago. The well maintained wooden interior breaths German history and appeals to both the locals and tourists. The wooden booths are cosy and allthough near to each other you will have a feeling of privacy. The staff is both friendly and efficient, you won't have to wait long to order any extras, neither to get them served. The menu offers a variety of German style food. I very much like the Wiener Schnitzel, served with French fries and a nice little salad with the typical dressing. The Dutch mussels are realy good, the steaks are great and the "eissbein" (ham hock) is a desired speciality. Whenever we visit Aachen we visit Degraa for a relaxing few drinks and some really good local food.

Nous étions en tourisme d'un jour en famille et le restaurant nous avait été recommandé par des amis. Nous n'avons pas ete decu du tout. Le restaurant est situé en plein coeur du centre. Il propose typique de la région et les prix sont tres démocratiques avec un mélange de clients locaux et de touristes ce qui est un gage de qualité puisque ne s'adresse pas uniquement aux touristes. Bref à faire sans hésiter. Service cordiale sans plus mais efficace. Le serveur connaissait le français.

Es sieht aus wie in einem typischen Brauhaus und es riecht auch so. Leider gibt es kein einheimisches Bier. Das Essen ist eher rustikal, die Bedienung auch.
