What a treat it was to have lunch at Mortens Kro truly upscale ambiance, service and food. The lunch we had was really traditional Danish open faced sandwiches, but with a modern, very delicious twist. We all loved it. Will certainly go back next time I find myself back in Aalborg. Thank you, Morten, for a great lunch experience.

Highly recommended also by the locals as the one and only place to have lunch in Aalborg, Mortens Kro certainly did not disappoint. To start it off, the decor of the place is super cool, including TVs in every single toilet stall. And their open faced sandwiches are absolute perfection with unique combos of flavors and beautifully prepared. Three sandwiches are recommended per person but for a healthy appetite, four will not be a struggle. The lobster and avocado smorrebrod is the kinda stuff that culinary dreams are made of.

Together with a set of friends we visited this beautiful restaurant, where a couple of well-established servants guided us through a large culinary evening with coordinated wines. The timing between the dishes was good and the dishes played well with the wines served. A wonderful evening is perfect. Thank you for food, Morten.

We were with a group of six men on the go and based on TripAdvisor records on this restaurant. The institution's watch chick and a bit above the top, but it's cozy. Most tafesls are for 4 or sometimes 6 kouverter, but most of the tables had only two errors. The card is quite simple and the choice is a la carte or some dishes in a standard menu. Great! So the chef can also concentrate on the quality and not the diversity. the pace of passing the dishes is low. The wine selection is big. A lot of expensive wines. We chose an Italian for red and a Spanish white wine. Buy under $20 and went over the head three or four times. It is expensive. But they were also very good! The dishes are prepared with care and craftsmanship. Nice creative combinations. The flesh was more than adequate and super nice. Work! The service is young and rather inexperienced, and you can see that in the approach. You will be fine. We had a lovely evening and enjoyed the delicious wines and dishes. As far as we are concerned, the pace can go up without rushing, and we found the prices on the front side. But a nice restaurant!
