Spice And Taste - Aalst

Tasty Indian food, although sometimes a little too oily. Food is absolutely delicious, and probably the best Indian in Aalst. Absolutely recommended for a take-away Indian! Sadly they suffered a serious fire on 19/5/2022 which means they will be out of action for a while. :

Food is really good. Authentic flavours and finally a place where spicy really means spicy. Only reason for not giving 4 stars is the ridiculous price of a naan. 4.90 for 1 naan is outrageous. Rest of the dishes are fairly well priced with plenty of chicken/meat/veggies All in all a very enjoyable experience with fresh, high quality food, but we 'll be skipping the naans next time. EDIT: the naan price is wrongly listed on the English menu on the site. On the Dutch version, 3.20 is correctly priced. Thus, 4 stars well deserved

We discovered Indian cuisine when we lived in Brussels and since then it was the only thing we missed the most. We live here more than 10 years now and never ever heard of this Indian restaurant so we tried it and the flavors are there, the portions are generous and the manager is very kind. The only drawback maybe is the limited menu when you know what else is there ; But ok, you can't offer everything, it would only extend the waiting.
