Stopped in here after a long night of exploring Stockholm. Didn't get much to eat, but the pretzel I got was pretty good. The cider was refreshing as well. Overall, it's a decent place to check out if you want a snack and a place to get a drink.
The perfect place for anyone who enjoys German beer and dishes. The place has a stylish worn down/rustic design but doesn't feel very inviting. They have a wide array of beer and even Fritz Kola ! , the German soft drink. I'm not I big beer consumer but can enjoy a Guinness every now and then so the bartender found me a German equivalent black and thick like tar that I enjoyed. There's assorted cheese, assorted sausages as well as schnitzel and even döner. Most dishes are served with sauerkraut, no joke. The music in the speakers felt like a mismatch but maybe it works in a beer chugging context.
Bierhaus Sthlm has as is apparent from the name a German focus. The idea is German food and German beer. I must admit that I am seldom impressed by beer of German origin but it does go well with sausage and sausages is the main thing offered when it comes to food here. The menu has a lot of different sausages and a pretty decent sized plate of sausage, saurkraut and potatoes can be had for 100 SEK and in Stockholm that has to be seen as a bargain. It wont feed the starving but when I have been slightly hungry it has been enough for me. The beet is German and they offer a fairly extensive selection including a handful of light lagers/pilsners and a handful of weissbier (wheat beer) and in addition to that a few others like rauch bier and some ale. All together an interesting selection on tap and decent prices as well. Service was friendly and pretty fast. They also put a lot of work into making the place look nice, maybe a bit too designed to feel German but I liked the look of it. So good place for beer and sausage.
I should say their score is more like 3.5 than 3 stars for me but it was not really 4. The interior furniture is nice and comforting with verrryyy high noise level, nice if you just want to hang out but if you really wanna talk with someone, go some somewhere else. The personel are very helpful and nice. Beer is very ok to good, you just need to find your fav. I am disapointed on food though. We tried 2 dishes including 3 different korvs which supposed to be homemade, 1 was good, 1 just fine and 1 even below just fine. The fries was the freezed type and it was not even hot when it was served. I should mention, surkål was very well balanced and delicious. All might be because of a busy night but I will try other options on the menu next time.
