Cirkuskroen - Aarhus

The pub is great for some beers and classic Danish music. It is allowed to smoke inside. This might offend or appeal to you.

If you are in the dock area, close to the harbour or marina, pop into Cirkuskroen which is one of the oldest bars in the city and where you can meet the locals. It is very cosy and casual with some good food. Although there are no taps, and only 5 bottles Ceres, Tuborg, Carlsberg, Heineken for example) the atmosphere is good, if a bit noisy. The big attraction though is that the walls and ceiling are covered in clowns. Definitely not the place to go if you have an aversion to clowns! There are about 1,200 different clowns to look at.
