Mackie's Pizza - Aarhus

Great place, cozy and nice. However, you do not get cutlery to a pizza

We had walked by many delicious dishes at the restaurants/cafes by the river but decided to go into this place because our child wanted pizza. We were sooo disappointed. I thought the pizzas were a joke. The base was obviously factory made and very dry. The ham was a budget ham . Dry and tasteless. I have had much better pizza at a school canteen. Bad service, rude staff and expensive (especially the drinks, $7 dollars for one glass of apple juice, $8 for a glass of soda). I should have checked Tripadvisor before we went in.

We where four friends visiting. The kitchen used 40 minutes to prepare three pizzas and one burger. One of us didn't get the pizza at all. The pizzas we got was overcooked factory-made pizza base with too much topping. As for the burger, it was not worth the money. For a place that calls itself Mackies Pizza, it didn't live up to its name. If you want pizza in Aarhus, go to another place.

Very nice American atmosphere. The Mexican burger tasted delicious. The plate had enough food, that you almost didn’t need a starter. I would go here again!
