I'd say this is a typical Danish restaurant. very authentic, but all delivered to perfection. small menu, but everything is excellent. I had a Danish version of bark tars. a kind of deconstructed. superb. choice of smorgasbord. livrr we leave traditional old buildings with loads. from walking near the coast of aarhus. the personal was excellent.
The place itself is very cozy, but this is the point. the stjerneskud was not the best quality. my daughter ordered a vegan bruschetta got a plate mixed salat instead of without broth it cost 155 kr. ridiculous. I had a prawn. on toast was a very salty one. most of us had burned toast. the homemade rhabarb juiceevund tasted only of water, they have definitely forgotten the rhabarb in. much too expensive for bad quality. a very disappointing birthday dinner. would never eat there again.
There were no information that is reserved outside tables and I wait for 15 min, no one came to tell me how it works. the people fought only on tables very bad service and waiter! never comes again!
This is a very unique place that is worth the trip of aarhus city – very beautiful and authentic location near the forest and the old water mill. they can see and taste that eating is made with passion for quality and proper ingredients. the staff is very friendly and up to earth. go to lunch and walk in the woods or in the garden of the moesgaard museum. we also had the chance to keep our high time at this place. we had a nice day and everything lived up to our expectations – the personal was friendly and helpful with all the details and service/food that are highest standards without complaining to the guests at all.
