Rimba Cafe - Abang

The restaurant has a beautiful garden with lots of greenery and a clean space. The quality of the food is high, with the best salad bar in the area. They offer a well-marked selection of vegan options and have vegan-sensitive staff. There is a good variety of vegan dishes available, with additional desserts at the front. I appreciated that the staff encouraged new customers to connect tables with others if there were no available tables, but you are still free to decline.

They offer delicious chocolate chip cookies, caramel and peanut homemade Snickers bars. Priced at 18k-25k with no additional tax, these desserts are proper and not made from raw ingredients like beetroot or coconut.

We had the Mediterranean (74k) and Mexican (76k) with potato wedges (25k). Wedges were great, burgers were good but could be more interesting.

Named restaurant lacks a variety of vegan options, especially during these times when many restaurants are closed, further limiting choices. I am surprised that rimba restaurant is not already here, as it is a popular place, right? The interior design reflects a typical Bali aesthetic one might find on Pinterest, giving it a taste of Canggu/Uluwatu but in Amed. As for the food, their complete salad was decent, although my initial request for substitutions was met with some difficulty, but now they seem more accommodating. The vegan salad was a bit disappointing, mainly consisting of carrots, so I opted for the burger instead, which was satisfying. The falafel salad was delicious, albeit a bit small, leaving room for dessert. I was pleased to find a few vegan ice cream options, particularly enjoying the madop flavor. I was confused, however, as to why the cocosus ice cream was not vegan.
