Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Abbeville

Haven't been to a Dairy Queen in about 3 years. The one where I live closed down 5 year ago. The nearest Dairy Queen is this location which is about 35 min drive. Use to love going Dairy Queen when it was still opened in my town. Use to alwaysget the chicken strip basket. It was pretty cheap and the chicken strip were big. I was in the area and decided to stop by.Suprise to see how small the chicken strips have gotten and the prices is about 3 dollars more than it use to cost. Paidalmost 11 with taxes for 6 piece meal. It use to be around 8 with taxes. It was still pretty good.

We went through the drive-thru 8/26/2022 at noon time.. the employee was very rude taking our order.

My daughter brought me a crispy chicken salad. The lettuce was SHREDDED, 1 piece of chicken, a pinch of tomatoes, cheese and bacon so hard it couldn't be eaten. I took the salad back and ask for a refund. Since my daughter paid on her debit card it hadto be refunded to that card, I understand that. They refunded the whole meal and recharged the card without the salad. ??? Sonow 2 people have had to go to the restaurant and not 1 time did either of us get an apology. Very bad customer service. Lastweek they were out of ranch dressing. This week they are out of regular lettuce for a salad. Poor management and ordering foodand supplies.

2-28-23 Once again..Very nice staff. The food was good. Yes it took longer than most drive-thru restaurants but they make the food fresh so it is expected to be slower than McDonalds, BK , etc. the quality is there and I’m willing to be patient and wait a few more minutes. This is the same situation every time i go to DQ. Thank you DQ staff. Nice folks. The drive-thru was speedy and the food was very fresh. The burgers are bland but thats just DQ in general. The chicken fried steak strips are good.

Great food and the best ice cream. Every time I stop here (usually for the ice cream) I End up ordering food as well. They always cook the food fresh when you order.
