Led by previous recommendations here on ta, we were not disappointed. delicious cheese burger with penny chips, the filet of pork was perfectly prepared with honey carrots, polnta cake and an amazing jus a lot of it! and my escape with a creamy Risotto style...rice was absolutely tasty! desserts were prepared to house and from a high standard expected in this beautiful part of france. drinks, dinners, desert coffee for four was 97€, so not the cheapest, but excellent eating and service the thumbs of us.
Absolutely beautiful little restaurant. eating was amazing and beautifully cooked. I would highly recommend this restaurant to try the local food. eating is on a special board and the French lady spent time translating it to us and the pudding where very cheap...and we family of five really enjoyed it.
What a find ... All due to another trip advisor review . It's a slightly strange looking restaurant from the outside , looks like a cross between a Patisserie and Hairdresser Inside however you will find a young couple who will freshly prepare wonderful food...for you . The menu is quite small always a good sign in my book , everything is prepare to order .... Lovely ambiance and really nice people who don't speak English but understood our poor French . Unusual and delightful starters, good mains but OMG .. Incredible puddings . The profiteroles were probably the best I have ever had in my life ... And all for around €26 for 3 courses !! Wonderful , will definitely go again . And Abbeville is such a great place to stay when heading back to the ferry.
From the outside this looks like a cake shop and is very small. Go through the door which opens outwards by the way and you enter something that cannot fail to surprise and delight you. The main courses are wonderful but limited choice meat...dish, fish dish etc based on what can be bought each day but you don't go for the main course. There is a large chilled cabinet filled with delicious, beautifully made desserts and cakes and very reasonably priced. Two main meals, one dessert, one coffee and a carafe of wine cost 40 euros great value for the quality of food. Top tip, this place is tiny, get there by midday as they are turning customers away by quarter past.
