It was quiet, but that just meant more space for us at the table. The food was delicious and I look forward to trying more dishes on my next visit. The restaurant has a cute design, great staff, and tasty food. Definitely worth a visit.
This restaurant is situated on the corner of Victoria and Lithgow Street and is a fantastic spot. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff are welcoming and provide excellent service from the moment you arrive. The menu offers a diverse selection of visually appealing dishes, with flavors that perfectly complement each other. Don't miss the breakfast roll with chorizo salsa or the smoothie breakfast bowl, which will make you feel like you're swimming with a mermaid (or a seahorse). I will definitely return to try the skillet next time.
I tried the Chorizo Baked Beans and was blown away! The dish featured perfectly smoky chorizo slices, chorizo mixed with baked beans, two fried eggs with runny yolks, kifler potatoes, a green salad on toasted sourdough, and a garnish of salsa verde. The bowl was bursting with flavor and had a unique kick to it. I even had to cleanse my palate before enjoying a deliciously sweet and creamy beetroot latte. The staff was friendly and provided fast service throughout my visit. The cafe had a cozy layout, with sections that resembled someone's old house, and 90s and 2000s dance music creating a lively ambiance. The only slight downside was that the seating could be a bit uncomfortable for me, but that wouldn't deter me from returning.
TURN UP THE VOLUME, PEEPS! <br/ <br/ Okay okay, I don’t want to be screaming... but I am surely talking very loud! <br/ <br/ BECAUSE HELLO BLUE SMOOTHIE BOWL OF YOUR DREAMS
Lizzie’s first impression: situated in the busy strip that is Victoria st, this cute brunch place has many sections of seating areas. The staff here are super nice and the food was great! <br/ <br/ Lizzie enjoyed: I tried the mixed fruits porridge bowl and it was super fresh and yummy. It wasn’t too sweet so it allowed me to pair the porridge with the fruits which were also very sweet. I also tried the salmon dish with a salad the salmon was cooked to perfection and fell off the skin easily. I also had one of their juices which tasted amazing – it had a bit of ginger in it which definitely kick started my day for me. <br/ <br/ Lizzie did not enjoy: I do love a good bowl of fries for brunch but these ones were a little under cooked for my liking so wasn’t as crispy as I usually like it. Nonetheless, the portion was so generous. <br/ <br/
