We went for the entertainment not the food. We have never been impressed with the menu and the value is not there. We enjoy Johnny Bootleg and he was the reason we went.
The restaurant seemed to be understaffed, resulting in a decline in the quality of the food. However, the servers/waitresses were very friendly and apologetic.
The food was delicious, but the music from the live band detracted from the pleasant dining atmosphere as it was too loud. In terms of value for money, the restaurant is considered overpriced for its category.
The service was excellent until we reached dessert. We had to wait a long time for someone to come by and eventually had to flag down a server. It seemed like all the workers were either busy or in the kitchen area. The food was mediocre overall. The lobster roll was mostly bread, but the burger was good. The flat iron steak was okay, a bit chewy but cooked perfectly. I ordered the Valentine's feature, and the guacamole was excellent. However, the crab was disappointing and the berry crumble was just okay. Considering the price we paid, we would have expected better quality. The background music was too loud and made the atmosphere chaotic, making it necessary to yell to communicate with our group. It was not a relaxing experience at all. The live music was a nice touch, but it was also too loud. The evening should have been a calm night out with friends, not a concert.
