Ravens Bar & Grill - Abbotsford

I always try and arrive early for my early morning flight so I can stop by Ravens for a quick breakfast before jumping on the plane. Despite the usual early morning (5:30-6:00) start the serving staff is always super friendly and upbeat.

Service was friendly. Muffin was great. Clam chouder was tasty but not very warm. Floor looks like there was a janitor strike; but there was not.

I don't usually rant about places but this is by far the WORST OF THE WORST. First of all, my girlfriend ordered a breakfast platter and it was given to someone else and when that person complained that it wasn't her order my girlfriend had asked to see where her order is. The immediate response she got was "oh, this is actually yours BUT SHE DIDN'T touch it(other person)" who pays $10 for bacon, cold soggy eggs and stiff hash browns. There's only one restaurant in the airport so people are forced to eat here.... if you guys could eat prior to your flight please do as I'm sure you'll be more disappointed than us..

So many times I've been there and the service is terrible, the workers are lazy and do not maintain their tables and hardly pay attention to their costumers there the food is mediocre basically overprices hospital food, but I had this one girl, only met her once with a tattoo on her forearm, she was pleasant, attentive, talkative and seemed interested in her customers, always smiling and was the first one to greet people serve them their food and bring their drinks.

The seasonal beer was good; "Okanagan Springs", the wings were awesome, The bartender that finally paid some attention and seemed to be interested was good. BUT the 1st one? Awful. I walk in with a friend, he sits, I take my coat off, she asks what he wants and trots off to get it, I sit, she brings the beer puts it in front of him and leaves. I sit and sit and sit,there are three of them wandering about; finally some pleasant girl looked at me and smiled, I ask for a beer "please, pretty please", she cheerful talks about the Weizen, brings a warm water dish for sticky fingers and wishes me a good flight. Thank You! 20% for you sweetheart. Don't share.
