Coppa Coffee - Aberdeen

A cheerful spot with high-quality macbeans coffee and wonderful service!

After placing our order, which took 40 minutes to arrive despite having 3-4 staff members on duty and the other tables already being served, I was quite surprised. When our food finally arrived, the server brought it to a dirty table. She had to set our food down on a nearby dirty table while adding the dishes to the pile on another, and without wiping our table, she simply served our meals. She then went back to the register and continued chatting, leaving the other dirty tables unaddressed, even after recognizing the mess. Moreover, I’ve never encountered any staff who seemed particularly friendly. My partner suggested this might be because they’re all quite young, but I disagree. It’s common for younger individuals to work in the food and beverage industry, and I haven't noticed such issues before. This lack of attentiveness is something I've observed during the five or six times I've been, and after speaking with a friend who lives nearby and has had similar experiences, I find it hard to believe it’s just coincidental. Given the great value and quality of the food, I would likely return, but it would be solely for takeout.

The place is lovely and the service is great. The smoothies were delicious.

I had lunch on November 24, and it was delightful! I enjoyed a delicious sandwich, some great coffee, and an incredible fruit scone, all for under £8—what fantastic value! The service was friendly, and there was some nice jazz playing in the background. Honestly, what more could you ask for? It's a wonderful spot, and I can’t wait to return soon.

I love this café! I always make a point to visit whenever I'm in Aberdeen. The staff is friendly, the dining experience is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful.
