Very friendly as well as chatty staff in this little restaurant/ bistro in the city centre. I have never tried Malaysian before so it was a new and good experience. I think, that the food was different but good. The service was top notch and the tea with ginger and honey just tastes incredibly good.
Authentic Malaysian food in Aberdeen. Tasty and zesty dishes. Cosy and relaxing ambience. Strategically located near Union St. Close to St. Nicholas Lane’s famous murals. Value for money
We’ve been to Selera twice in the last two weeks and we plan to go again for dinner with friends. It’s a family run restaurant and they serve great Malaysian food. And good value for money as well. I’ve read some of the other reviews… people mentioning that service is slow. We never had any problems. Also, bear in mind that it’s a family run place, only recently opened. They do not have years of experience running a restaurant. Give them a chance :
Took so long. Fried egg undercooked. Smallest chicken leg. Then took another 20mins to get our curry puff, taste not good.
