Went across to wagamanas friendly welcoming and wanting the business, yo sushi dont care, more intetested in packing up well in advance. Very poor, surprised they are still in operation
Disappointed once again. Wasabi and soy sauce are never included with sushi deliveries, so if you forget to add them (which costs extra for whatever reason) your meal is ruined. Some things on the menu are plain bad or bland and very different from what they look like in the pictures. Items are overpriced, for instance the dorayaki pancake is just a YO! rebranded item that you can get at Asda for less than half the price. Considering the huge mark up, you would expect essential things that cost virtually nothing (namely wasabi and soy sauce) to be added out of courtesy. Dining here is a bit nicer, that is if your phone has reception or their Wi-Fi works. Wouldn't recommend.
Last Saturday, I visited Yo! Sushi with two friends. We had a great time overall. The food was of good quality, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, I noticed that the variety on the conveyor belt was smaller than usual, and overall, I don't think the selection is as good as it used to be. Nonetheless, it's still a place worth visiting.
There are also plenty of items you’ll need to order from the menu, so keep an eye on the plates as they go by. It’s easy to munch on a lot and end up with a hefty bill at the end. You could always wait for a friend to head to the restroom and slip some of your plates onto their stack, just saying! Sunday morning is the best time to visit. They offer Super Sumo Sundays, an all-you-can-eat deal for £18.50. There’s also Blue Monday, where every plate is just £2.30. I absolutely love Yo! Sushi in any city, but I can definitely see myself visiting this particular location more often than not. It’s conveniently located for shoppers, and it's even better if you’re traveling by train or bus and have an hour to spare before your next ride. I've actually made it a point to include a "Yo! hour" in my trips through Aberdeen. Just a heads up, though – they don’t serve Fruity Oaty Bars!
I visited for the first time in a while with my kids, and we had a great experience. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming, especially since it was quite busy. The kids really enjoyed watching all the food on the conveyor belt—it felt like a little show! We ordered the kids-eat-free bento boxes for the little ones, which were very generous portions, and they loved them. Overall, it was a fun outing for everyone!
