The chicken and leek soup was excellent, and the sweet potato, chilli, and coconut soup was also very tasty. We all loved creating our own paninis, with the bacon, Brie, and red onion chutney one being the standout favorite. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even reorganizing tables to seat our family of seven. The restaurant was bustling but it was worth exploring the charming gift shop while waiting for a table.
I have visited this cafe three times and each time they have been out of scones before lunchtime. It might be a good idea for them to increase their order. I will not be returning as there always seems to be an issue. I have witnessed unhappy customers each time because the staff are overwhelmed. Hiring more staff, stocking more scones, and offering fewer "gifts" would be a good idea.
Tremendous, thank you for coming out to tell us the cafe was dog friendly, thanks for the delicious bacon rolls, Isla and Ness pass on their thanks for the dog treats just thanks for a brilliant start to our stravaig round Deeside.
My sister and I stopped by the corner house for lunch very impressed with the choice of food (we opted for panini and toastie) Friendly service in particular a young lady called Jane who made us feel most welcome. Will come again.
My husband and I met a friend for coffee and a treat. We received a pleasant welcome, and were shown to our table which we had reserved. We had a really pleasant friendly Waitress, a lady from Hungary. She was being so nice to all the customers. My husband chose a muffin, I had a fruit scone and our friend had the banoffie scone. (It wasn't the easiest to eat, with toffee sauce and toffee pieces on the top! We had a pot of tea for one, a cappuccino and a latte. Everything was excellent. The tea room did become very busy which was great to see so we were glad we had reserved a table. A lovely visit.
