I always had a nice meal here. the staff is friendly and their Prawn cocktail is to die. yum

We have happened this by chance on the way to Byrnmawr and decided to get rid of it! very nice old feeling pub, everyone was very friendly, good eating and beer. would definitely recommend if they are in the opposite!

My family arranged a surprise meal here. eating was absolutely beautiful and the staff was. amazingly very friendly and nothing was too much annoyed. the owners should be so proud of their own. Many thanks for making our evening fantastic xxxx

We celebrated our baby granddaughter the baptism in this family ran yesterday pub and what an amazing time we had. we decided after the service in blaenavon that we have all East Sunday dinners. our party was 26 including 6 children 2 vegetarians. everything was booked in advance and served the tables hot and in time without fuss. the portion sizes were generous and all cooked house, and there were many nicely cooked veg kartoffels and boats of beautiful thick gravy. the puddings were also made to house and again beautifully presented and tasted beautiful. I can recommend the sherry trifle very much thanks to many, amanda, ben, granddad staff for the day so special x
