Gosford Bothy - Aberlady

Beautiful and peaceful place with excellent quality. we discovered this jewel during our trip and we decided to try it. one of our best decisions! the alocated parking is between beautiful large trees. when they go from the parking lot to load, they can see the chickens of the farm that run around. in the shop they have a large selection of organic food and a small coffee shop. some of the products are their, some of the builders from the environment. this is a perfect example of how people can help each other! in the metzger area helped us a very helpful and polite man called craig very. we decided to buy wild boar for a one-pot proposed by craig. then we had coffee with a house made rocky road cake. also delicious and huge portion . we discovered that they serve a great selection of meals for lunch to a very good value. I can only recommend this quiet place!

Best metzger in the opposite large selection of cuts, sausages and speck etc. eier originate from the chickens outside and the brot comes from a local bakery. steak pies are excellent. meat is always fresh and well presented in cooled displays. are locally produced and there is a good selection of deli specialities. more expensive than supermarkets, but it is worth it. the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Great for meat eaters. Huge range of home reared and butchered pork, chicken and beef products. Local breads and vegetables.

Great selection of free range meat, groceries and general products you'd expect to see in a farm shop. The eggs are really quite special, and always a pleasure to see the hens that are laying your eggs on the way in. Can occasionally grab a tray for a fiver which is great value. The scotch eggs, sausage rolls and scotch pies made by the chef are spot on. Beautiful drive there, always a pleasure to visit.
