We have been 100% satisfied with the quality, flavor, and service provided, every time we have come. I can’t recommend this place enough. To all the people crying because Belles has rules and the same way of doing business for everyone, go somewhere else if you don’t like it. To the folks who cry because it’s so expensive, I’m pretty sure KFC and Church’s still operates in Abilene, if a $5 fried chicken meal is what you expected. Judging from the crowds every time we go, they’ll be ok whether the bitchers and moaners eat there or not.
Husband and I ate at Belle's Chicken Dinner House last night. It was AWESOME!! I had the Chicken Fried Steak. It was large enough for 3people! Covered the whole plate, and it was good. Husband had Fried Chicken Dinner. Again, really good. Crispy, not greasy. Sides were very tasty, I liked that the gravy wasn't over peppered. But, the yeast rolls were the best!! Took home left over CFS, and waitress offered a little tub of gravy! Also the xtra roll. Service was great, waitress was fun, even got us talking to the table next to us. We'll definitely be back next visit to Abilene!
We haven’t been here in years!! My husband and I had lunch here today for his birthday. He was craving chicken fried steak. Our server was awesome! She was attentive and personable! The food was amazing! The music made the experience even better! Thank you Belle’s! We’ll be back!
The experience was great, family style dining at it best southern cooking. Great fried Chicken and the waitress was very sweet. Bench seating and lots of veggies to go with the main course. We will return again.
Ok, I'm, confused. Some of these reviews are saying you can take leftovers home and some, not. Which is it? I have been there before and while the chicken is good and so is the fish, it's expensive. For small guys like me, it's just not worth it. And, no bandanna pudding the night I went. Positives: good parking, rustic atmosphere, friendly and fast. Negatives: Expensive and I guess there are items they will let you take home? But I agree with the other reviewer that once you order your meal, what's on the table, should be yours. If they don't want to supply the doggy bag, just post that. I would NOT be shy about bringing my own. Golden High Dollar Corral is like that as well. Not Cool to throw away what could be taken home to help justify the cost.
