Contribuisci feedbackComing from NYC I can tell you the plain slice of pizza is expensive, the sauce is too sweet, and the cheese is really salty. The crust is decent. Maybe this is what Texans like, my bad for the 3 star review.
I hadn 't been there in years, but I can say their pizza used to look and be good. I used to think they had the best pizza. However, I went today and not only was the cashier guy rude. The pizza was not at all what it used to be. The cashier guy didn 't greet any customers nor thank them. When he handed me my pizza, he just tossed it on the counter and said nothing. Remember you chose the job, the job didn 't choose you. If you have poor customer skills, why work there. Even my 7yr old said the pizza looked disgusting. And chose not to eat his slice afterall. I tried offering it to someone else. But, no one wanted it so we ended up just tossing both slices. I had bitten off of mine. And it definitely was not the great pizza it once was years ago.. Will definitely not be returning.. Not only because the pizza is no longer good. But that customer service attitude is so poor.. I also noticed the 3.5 fee if you use a card. Asked him a question, and all he did was nod his head no verbal response..
Such a hit or miss. Food was old with the exception of a roll that they had to make since they ran out. You are expected to keep an eye on when the food they didn 't have is ready and go get it yourself. Guess it 's so hard to bring it to the table like most places. Also, they now charge a 3.5% fee on credit cards. Like seriously, a restaurant charging to use a card.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We arrived at 6:15 PM, and since they close at 7 PM, I expected to be welcomed. However, when we ordered a family meal, the staff informed us that they wouldn't serve us because they were out of breadsticks and pasta, and they wouldn't make any more. My daughter had been looking forward to celebrating her birthday here, so it was a real letdown. We were ready to spend $40-50, but it's clear they didn't seem to care about our business.
The pizza here is excellent, and I really enjoy the breadsticks. The lasagna is also tasty, and I always appreciate the pasta salad. However, my main complaint is the size of the pizzas. I ordered a large pizza, but it was closer to a medium. I paid about $16 for that large pizza and added a 2oz ranch, bringing the total to $17. It's hard for me to justify spending that much for a relatively small pizza. I find that Joe's Pizza offers better value since their large pizzas are more like extra-large. I likely won't order from here again unless it's for a single slice. On the bright side, the combo meals are great for dining in.
