Joe Snuffy's - Abilene

I decided to visit Joe Snuffy’s for breakfast after my one night stay at a local hotel, where the breakfast options were rather paltry. I ordered the chicken fried steak meal with scrambled eggs and a half order of biscuits and gravy. All were very savory and delicious, and kept me satiated for a full day of adventuring ahead. I also enjoyed the decor throughout the dining room nothing too fancy, but it made for a cozy atmosphere. Parking: Limited number of street parking spaces directly in front of the building arriving from the east (Buckeye Avenue), I had to circle the block to find an adequate space to park.

I don 't know if this is considered a hole in the wall place but I think it is, in the best way possible. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, my boyfriend ordered the Philly with fries; add a side of trail seasoning per the recommendation of our waitress. They served my meal with a homemade dinner roll and I honestly wanted to take half a dozen home, however, we settled on taking a cinnamon roll to go which was also amazing. We don 't go through Abilene often, but if we are ever heading through for lunch we will stop again!

Good food, excellent friendly service, pleasant spacious dining room, neat clean restroom.

Joe Snuffy's is always great. I love the home cooking and the causal dinner table attitude. Our waitress, Amber, was wonderful. She made us feel at home. We appreciate her service and attention to detail.The owner is always on the floor, seeing his customers and staff. He understands that the floor is the heart of any restaurant. We came down from Beaver Crossing Nebraska Saturday morning to buy a Rv we was told the best restaurant in Abilene Kansas was Snuff'y's it was fantastic, the waitress was very nice and helpful, the food was great we recommend the chicken fried chicken you will not go wrong!!!! Parking: No trouble parking Kid-friendliness: We had our grandson with us and his parents we was all treated fantastic
