Mr K's Farmhouse - Abilene

We arrived to find the restaurant closed. Although there was a sign indicating it was open, there were no cars in the parking lot.

We lived in Abilene in the late 90s and dined here as often as possible. We absolutely loved the restaurant, from the food to the service. We still think fondly of it and miss it greatly.

The food wasn't particularly impressive, but the historical ambiance and the ancient artifacts surrounding the restaurant are quite fascinating.

My wife and I have been numerous times under the old ownership. Most everything was good. Service was always great, food was good but really nothing outstanding, but overall no complaints. Their house dressing, which they used to sell by the bottle (not sure if they still do), is amazing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
