Kent Island Seafood - Abingdon

This place sells ex big cocks and gives out medium. they gave my command to someone else and I had to wait until another batch was cooked, and the crumbs he gave me were small and light without clawing on them. the owner is an idiot and threw me out of his load when he implied about his little cocks. stay away from kent island.

I was very disappointed with my recent order of a dozen Jumbo baskets. Out of the dozen, ten measured 6.5 inches or less, and only two were 7.6 inches. Among these, only a couple had a claw. Jumbos from other places are typically much larger—7 inches is about the minimum. When I called to inquire about their sizes, including their big, X-size, and jumbos, the person I spoke to told me I needed to visit in person to see for myself. Unfortunately, this is the second time I’ve felt let down by Kent Island in Abingdon, MD. I've heard similar complaints from others, but it seems we're stuck with Kent Island for now. Clearly, I was mistaken in my expectation. I won’t be ordering from them again.

The ruined eggs are my daughter's favorites! The trip is well worth it. The chunks are large and hearty, though a bit heavy on the rock salt; however, the Old Bay seasoning really shines through. If you ask for a lighter seasoning, you can't go wrong. We often get crabs and eggs! They’re even available at the butcher shop!

Great place! It's the first restaurant I visited when I moved to Maryland. I've tried a few others, but I always find myself coming back to Kent. They always go the extra mile for their customers!
