I photographed a twilight wedding here earlier this year, and I cannot fault the team or the location. It's a great neutral ceremony room for the couple to put their own personal touch on if they wish. The wedding suite is characterful with the four poster bed and nice natural light which makes for good photos. There is also some outside space that can be used for photos both in the daytime and at night which is what we did! Hotel highlights: Great value

My wife and I recently stayed at the hotel as part of a wedding party, on arrival at 11 45 we asked for a tea or a coffee, there was nothing ready, no sugar, no saucers and then they bought out 2 cups of tea for what was by then about 12 people . We were told at half past 2 in the afternoon we could get into our rooms, on entering the external building there was all rubbish behind the door, we then entered our room. The only good thing about the room was that the bed was made, then we went around the room counting the spider webs, they were everywhere , there was even dead flies in them. We were going to have a shower but we looked at the shower head and we were afraid that something nasty would come out of it, it had not been cleaned for a very long time. Back in the hotel and the wedding meal was good, but the service at the bar was dreadful, you had 3 people serving one person because they only had one till. Next morning the breakfast wasn't very good, there was only a choice of two cereals and the scrambled egg looked like sludge, the orange juice had been watered-down too. I wouldn't want to stay at the hotel again

Great stay, Excellent well appointed room, Good location, Let down very badly on breakfast. Asked for brown toast not toasted just like warm bread. Asked for very well done bacon got warm pre cooked/uncooked bacon rubbery cheap sausage, Cold everything else. Delivered too quickly to the table so must be tried to keep on a warming plate.... very stewed tea as in flask, 3 star hotel buy some teapots!!!!! Rooms: 4
