The Black Horse - Abingdon

Unfortunately, my experience was not pleasant. Despite the restaurant being empty, the service was slow, and when the food finally arrived, it was reminiscent of school cafeteria meals. Many menu items were unavailable, and the atmosphere was lacking; the decor could definitely use an update. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I had a fantastic meal! The lamb was succulent, and the apple crumble was to die for. The service was excellent as well.

This is a wonderful old pub with fantastic food and a charming staff. I highly recommend it!

Eating was good that we went on Sunday that lunch was just the crumble and custard the little jug with custard contained only one table spoon full the most
