Crown Thistle - Abingdon

There for a high time, this is a stunning environment that has been tastefully modernized. it is something of a labyrinth, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. the staff was very helpful and friendly during our stay. I would have given them 5 stars if they did not remove black pudding from their full English breakfast! our whole party was pleased with the service level we received.

Stay, staff very friendly, welcoming and offers excellent service. it was great that we were allowed to look early, we were there for a high time. only nigger was the bedroom a little small as the bathroom (rm 18) and no refrigerator, but perfectly clean. breakfast cooked to order, excellent portion size and delicious. bar and restaurant stylishly modern and while maintaining the character of the old building. highly recommended.

We came for a friend 50th birthday party. what a wonderful staff! the room was nice, very clean and comfortable we had room 2. great facilities in the hotel and in the bar. beautiful covered courtyard. the breakfast was amazing. I had the yogurt. my man had speckrolles and they were really delicious. the other one we saw from this world. the waitress was absolutely excellent. thanks to many, if we are ever in the opposite, we will stay with them again.

Came to lunch today, the service was fantastic that we had a beautiful dame called julie. she went beyond and beyond to make sure we had a nice lunch. the food was delicious (I would recommend the fish starter plate of the fish was nicely cooked and a large part as well.

Absolutely brilliant venue, staff go above and beyond. Very professional! Food is incredible, every single guest complimented the venue and the food. Thank you for hosting our wedding and being such a brilliant venue!
