One of my friends got a pork tenderloin and it was cooked way too long and was very dry. The outside room was nice and big and looked very nice but trying to get the heat for everyone to be comfortable was not working like it should. Waitress was very nice and helpful.
Fantastic, extremely tasty food! The chicken quesadilla appetizer was the best I have ever eaten! My brisket was extremely flavorful, moist& juicy! Fresh home grown green beans with bacon pieces was fantastic. My 27 year old son said his chicken sandwich had great flavor &cooked perfectly! Great service, waiter checked on us several times& kept our drinks refilled.A bit expensive, but worth it.Give this restaurant a try!!?? ???????
I can't the food quite yet. Even though the sword fish was really good. Draw backs are menu wasn't correct with my dish, couple high end drinks were sub par, bartenders sent messed up drinks, however the cook is on point with what I ordered. I want to give a 5 star for food but have to try more than one dish. The 3 stars is because of the eye rolls and drinks were served wrong. Maybe next time I visit we can have a better experience!!Update:I brought a friend with me to expand the food menu tastes. I did order more food and everything was fantastic!! The bartender this time was super. It's just that the long islands aren't shaken but the quality is amazing! That is my fault for not requesting a couple things! If you keep the elk around, I'll definitely try it. Love how the food is fresh and made from scratch!! Everyone come enjoy this establishment. Ty to the owner for suggestions on the new dishes!! The grading scale doesn't do them justice!! Amazing place!!
Went here for a date night. The place is not a place to casually dress. Business casual at minimum. Jeans are fine but no sweatpants.Decor is nicely done. Pretty bright. But frankly the place was NOISY. They need some serious sound treatment.Service was awesome. Very attentive.Food is pretty good as well, however VERY overpriced for what you get. For those prices, I’d rather go to Cork N Cleaver where it’s quieter and the food is better.I’m not saying the food is bad. It’s not. But a place’s French onion soup tells a lot… and Summit’s is in the higher mid-range. Not amazing (which does exist here in Fort Wayne) but definitely good. I ate it all. It’s your pretty standard French onion soup that’s well done with enough cheese that’s toasted and nice and pretty. We had the Texas Twinkies, which were pretty great. Totally recommend those.I had the Chipotle chicken and shrimp with gluten free pasta and it frickin tasted like a campfire… it was AWESOME. Nice and spicy.Husband had the brown sugar bone in pork chops. He loved it as well, but he says for the price, it should have been a thicker pork chop. It’s nice to sit and chat with some wine over a meal. It’s a nice place.
I've lived in Fort Wayne my entire life so believe me when I say this is the best meal I have EVER eaten. Everything was so amazing, even the staff. My husband got brisket and ribs The brisket was so savory and the ribs fell right off the bone. Our waitress was very friendly and answered all our questions. We're obsessed.
