Today, I encountered a new employee named Kylie who got into a dispute with me at the drive-thru over the price of a Double Stack biggie bag. The menu displayed 3 of the biggie bags for $5 each and 2 for $6 each. However, when I arrived at the window, I was charged $6.48. When I questioned the discrepancy, Kylie rudely explained that the extra charge was due to tax. Despite being well aware of taxes at my age of 62, Kylie closed the window on me and left me waiting. I overheard her speaking with someone inside, and then an older woman came out with a sheet of numbers to change the prices outside. She eventually returned to the window and handed me a dollar bill, still charging me $6. I received no apology for the confusion and poor treatment. I was very disappointed and will not be returning to this establishment. It is not about the money but the way I was treated. This experience has prompted me to write my first review, as I am quite upset. Kylie is not suitable for a role that involves interactions with the public.
This Wendy's in Fort Wayne used to be known for its excellent service and food. However, now they no longer provide salad dressings or give the wrong one for your salad. When requesting the correct dressing, the staff acts as if you are asking for something unreasonable. There is a lack of kindness and courtesy in their service.
